Vintage Mood | Dressing for Art's Sake

When you come across a vintage dress in the same vibrant colours as your favourite piece of art, you just have to put the two together.

In the frame, my vintage 1980s Blair Woolverton Dress, with its oversized florals printed on vibrant blue cotton. I love how it complements the colourful composition of the Mungo Powney canvas. I'm lost in a daydream where I spill water over the dress, it magically dissolves into the painting, leaving behind just a pair of high heels. Like a re-imagined scene from the Wizard of Oz.
